    Andrea Datzman is an American musician and composer known for her work on Inside Out, Let Me In, Zootopia, and Spiderman: Homecoming. Datzman worked as Michael Giacchino's scoring coordinator on Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Star Trek Beyond. She worked with Giacchino starting in 2005, when she did score preparation and additional orchestrations for him on the hit television series Alias (created by Star Trek director and producer J.J. Abrams) and Lost (co-created by Abrams and fellow Star Trek producer Damon Lindelof).

    In addition to her work with Giacchino, she scored the Star Trek: Short Treks second season episode "Ask Not".

    Datzman grew up in the suburbs of San Francisco, California, and took to studying music at a young age. She earned her Bachelors of Music Composition degree from the University of California in Santa Barbara. After graduating, Datzman relocated to Los Angeles where she took part in the University of Southern California's Scoring for Motion Pictures...

    Datzman provided additional orchestrations for the acclaimed 2005 film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang for composer John Ottman, who received a Saturn Award nomination from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films for this score. The film itself featured Star Trek: The Next Generation guest star Corbin Bernsen in a major supporting role.

    In 2005, Datzman began working with Michael Giacchino on Alias and later on Lost. She then worked as Giacchino's score assistant on Paramount Pictures' Mission: Impossible III, directed by J.J. Abrams and co-written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. She was again Giacchino's assistant on the hit Disney/Pixar film Ratatouille, helping to create the score which would earn Giacchino an Academy Award nomination. Datzman also assisted Giacchino in scoring the video game Medal of Honor: Airborne. More recently, she was Giacchino's score coordinator on the 2008 film Speed Racer.
