  3. Arrived in Bratislava from a river cruise stop, we found Bratislava a great place to visit with plenty of pretty houses, shops and cafes. We walked up to the Castle from the city centre which was an effort due to the very high temperatures [30 degrees] but the views from the Castle were well worth the effort.
