David "Dave" Alpay (born 6 October 1980) is a Canadian actor and musician. He plays Atticus Shane and Silas in Season Four of the The Vampire Diaries. Alpay received critical acclaim for his leading role in Ararat, for which he received a Genie Award nomination.
