Diocletian's Palace ( Croatian: Dioklecijanova palača, pronounced [diɔklɛt͡sijǎːnɔʋa pǎlat͡ʃa]) is an ancient palace built for the Roman emperor Diocletian at the end of the third century AD, which today forms about half of the old town of Split, Croatia.
The construction of the palace was finished in 305 AC, and it lasted less than ten years. Today, the palace is part of UNESCO world heritage and includes the old town of Split. No matter of art knowledge level, Diocletian's Palace is a must-see attraction for every visitor.

Considered to be one of the most imposing Roman ruins, Diocletian’s palace is certainly the main attraction of the city of Split, Croatia. These ruins are some of the most valuable surviving buildings of the Roman era on the Adriatic coast.
