Fast forward to May 2023, the show's Japanese Twitter account confirmed that production has begun. It remains to be seen how far along Season 3's production is.
Since this is called Season 3 and not The FINAL Season it most likely will 100% end with Arc 23. About 24-26 Episodes to adapt everything from Arcs 16-23. Arc 24 and Epilogue Arc would all together take 14 Episodes to adapt so we're either getting a Final Short Season 4 or Season 3 will be Three Cours and wrap everything up.
