Willona's Surprise (a.k.a. "Dinner with My Ex") is the seventeenth episode of Season 4 of Good Times, and also the seventy-eighth overall. Written by Austin and Irma Kalish, the episode, which was directed by Gerren Keith, orginally aired on CBS-TV on January 26, 1977.
For Willona's birthday, her philandering ex-husband returns to beg for forgiveness. She's convinced that he's a changed man, but he resumes his womanizing ways by hitting on Thelma.
It is a "surprise party" indeed when Willona (Ja'net DuBois) is visited during her birthday celebration by her philandering ex-husband Ray (Carl Lee). Turning on the charm, Ray insists that he's given up skirt-chasing and wants Willona to come back to him.
