Indian Summer is a 1993 American comedy drama film written and directed by Mike Binder. The movie was filmed at Camp Tamakwa (a summer camp in Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada ), which Binder had attended for ten summers as a child camper.
Synopsis. At Camp Tamakwa in 1972, a group of kids hike with camp owner Uncle "Unca" Lou Handler (Alan Arkin), and come upon a moose in the forest. Twenty years later in September 1992, the former campers prepare to return to Tamakwa for a fall reunion after the regular summer season.
