Pray and Paddle: A Kayaking/Canoeing Ministry of Rolling Ridge. Located on Lake Cochichewick, we offer a contemplative/ meditative paddling experience. Lake Cochichewick is a beautiful 565 acre natural body of water and the ancestral home of the Pennacook, who call it Cochichewick, which means ‘cascading water’.
No gasoline motors are permitted and no bodily contact with the water is allowed. Boats on the water are limited to 15 feet in length; paddling or rowing is preferred, although electric motors are acceptable. Canoes, kayaks, row boats and john boats are the usual way townspeople enjoy the water.
