    Background: Original Film is a film and television production company founded in 1997 by Neal H. Moritz. No proper logo was used until 1999 when Shasta McNasty premiered, and no logo was used on movies until the release of The Skulls in 2000. It was sometimes referred to as "Neal H. Moritz Productions".

    Logo: On a wall, we see an old television set with static. We then see the words zooming in:

    A hand comes in and turns the TV off.

    FX/SFX: It's all live-action, plus the text zooming in.

    Music/Sounds: The sounds of the TV static, along with a power-off sound when the TV is turned off. Basically sounds corresponding to the actions.

    1st Logo

    (October 17, 1997-February 1, 2000) Logo: On a black background, we see the print logo of Original Film from the era. It consists of the original frame with speaker face is placed inside the box, and the background in the frame is white. The word "ORIGINAL" is posed vertically left to the frame and "FILM" appears below (a la the 1991-2005 LucasArts logo), all in black, with the small green square in the corner dividing them. FX/SFX: None. Music/Sounds: The end theme of the TV movie. Availability: Seen on the TV movie Cabin by the Lake. It also appeared at the end of I Know What You Did Last Summer. Editor's Note: None.

    2nd Logo

    (October 17, 1997-April 29, 2004) Logo: In darkness, there appears a yellow director chair. The scene slowly moves, revealing other contents of the recording room - the director sitting with his megaphone, the man with camera, lights and microphone. Then we see the speaker with a striped bar under his head. All the action is made in unique decorative design and using limited amount of colors, including yellow, green, dark blue and brown. The green speaker's head with bar remains in the frame, while other background becomes black and the name appears, reading "ORIGINALFILM" in custom font. The word "FILM" is placed directly below the frame.  Variant: On Cruel Intentions 2 and Return of Cabin by the Lake, the logo is shortened, beginning with the fade-in of the name. FX/SFX: The picture gradually fading in, there are no other action. Music/Sounds: A simple uprising composition composed by John Debney. Music/Sounds Variants: •On Slackers, the opening theme is heard. •On Cruel Intentions 2, it is silent.

    3rd Logo (August 8, 2003-)

    Logo: We see the spinning silver letter "O" appearing from the darkness. Then it moves left, making room for other letters of the words "ORIGINAL FILM", covered by two lines above and below the logo. The logo shines. Variants: •Starting in 2010, the logo was given a more enhanced look. •On TV shows, the logo is shortened. •On some TV shows, the logo is still. •On Tru Calling, the logo is stretched and it simply fades in as the letters of "RIGINAL FILM" move from the "O". •On S.W.A.T., the logo is above the Perfect Storm Entertainment logo. •On Point Pleasant and The Boys, it is in warp speed. •On the 2017 version of Prison Break, the print logo is used.
