Aug 14, 1980 · Rip In Time is a 2022 romantic fantasy drama starring Torrell DeVito. A young woman rearing her 6 year old son with her father at a barn meets a dashing young gentleman named Rip who is suffering from memory loss and PTSD. Its later revealed that he is from 1700s and was a war veteran.
Lightweight romantic fantasy never rises above its mediocre story--a sequel of sorts to the legend of Rip Van Winkle. Actress Torrey DeVitto gives it her best as 30-something organic farmer Sarah Majors, but she receives little help from the rest of the cast.

I have to say, I was HUGELY skeptical when I saw the previews and info on this movie. I thought it would be a train wreck. BUT – I knew I LOVED and ADORED Niall Matter (from Aurora Teagarden Mysteries and general Hallmark fame) and Torrey DeVitto (Chicago Med star!)! So, I was willing to give it a shot. That’s it for this week’s May movie and the “Rip in Time” movie review! This turned out to be a really fun movie to watch and I enjoyed it tremendously. If you are skeptical like I was, give it a watch. I was entertained for the entire movie and found myself not wanting the movie to end! Let me know what you think when you watch it!
