However, if you want to experience the films how they were originally released to audiences, you'll want to start with X-Men (2000) where the series officially began.

    X-Men: First Class is the start of a new X-Men chapter that rewinds the clock to the earliest point on the film franchise’s timeline. The film begins in 1944 at the Auschwitz concentration camp before jumping ahead to 1962.
