Dec 15, 2023 · Sauber will be rebranded as Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber for the 2024 Formula 1 campaign, following the departure of their title sponsor Alfa Romeo. The Swiss team will operate under this banner for the next two seasons before rebranding as Audi in 2026 when they become the German manufacturer’s works squad.
Sauber returned in 2024 as Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, and is set to be the Audi works team from 2026 onwards, with the German outfit planning to acquire the Swiss team.

Mar 22, 2024 · Ferrari currently provide Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber with their 066/12 1.6L V6 turbo-hybrid power unit for the 2024 season. Sauber have also run Mercedes, Ford and BMW engines in the past. Sauber also united with Petronas to build their own engines from 1997 until 2005.
