Aakhree Raasta ( transl. Last option) is a 1986 Indian Hindi -language crime drama film written and directed by K. Bhagyaraj, presented by T. Rama Rao and produced by A. Purnachandra Rao both under banner Lakshmi Productions (Madras) (P).LTD. [1] The film stars Amitabh Bachchan in a dual role, Jaya Prada, Sridevi and Anupam Kher.
Aakhri Raasta revolves around David D’Costa who is falsely accused of his wife's murder and imprisoned. Twenty-four years later, when he is released, he seeks revenge on the three men who were responsible for his sufferings, only to be stopped by Inspector Vijay, who is none other than David’s son.
