Andrew is a Resident Playwright of Chicago Dramatists, an ensemble member of the Gift Theatre, and a two-time Jeff Award nominee. His play, Suicide, Incorporated , premiered at The Gift in 2010, under the direction of Jonathan Berry, and featuring The Gift Co-Founder Michael Patrick Thornton.
Andrew Hinderaker returns to Goodman Theatre, where he was a member of the 2013/2014 Playwrights Unit. During this time he developed The Magic Play, a co-commission between the Goodman and New York’s Roundabout Theatre Company.
You can find his photographs in The New York Times, TIME, The Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, New York magazine, and elsewhere. His work has been shown at the Museum of the City of New York, South Street Seaport Museum, and powerHouse Arena.
