Bruce Timm's Batman: Strange Days was a wonderful short film that takes influences of the styles and drama found in old black and white, horror or noir cinema. The film cuts right to the chase with a confrontation between Batman and Dr. Strange, with the help of his giant sidekick that looks a lot like the character Lobo.
