The following is a list of characters from Beverly Hills, 90210, an American drama series that aired from October 4, 1990, to May 17, 2000, on the Fox television network before entering syndication. It is the first installment of the Beverly Hills, 90210 franchise.
Ray Pruit is a principal character on Beverly Hills, 90210. He is portrayed by Jamie Walters. Ray is a reserved carpenter, pumpkin enthusiast, and aspiring musician living in Reseda. He meets Donna Martin while doing construction work at California University campus.
The show became a global pop culture phenomenon with its cast members, particularly Jason Priestley and Luke Perry, who became teen idols; the series also made actresses Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth household names in the United States.
In October 1994, he started playing Ray Pruit on Beverly Hills, 90210; he was the musician-boyfriend of Donna (played by Tori Spelling), a role he played for one season. [citation needed] On September 20, 1994, Walters released his self-titled debut album Jamie Walters.
