Bob Minner – Tim McGraw Band. Bob Minner has played guitar almost his entire life, starting at age 5. Growing up in Missouri, he won numerous guitar, banjo, and fiddle contests, and was a two-time 3rd place winner at the prestigious Winfield National Flatpicking Championships (1986-87).
When he was 3, we moved to Nashville to pursue not only Ginger’s career as a singer / songwriter, but also for me to take the job as acoustic guitarist for country icon Tim McGraw. As of September 2018 I have held that position for 26 years.
