In April 2022, it was announced that Ayo Edebiri, Marshawn Lynch, Ruby Cruz, Havana Rose Liu, Kaia Gerber, Nicholas Galitzine, Miles Fowler, Dagmara Domińczyk and Punkie Johnson were added to the cast. - Rachel Sennott as PJ. PJ is a teenager with a lot of personality and is part of the unpopular crowd, with very few friends except for her BFFs Josie and Hazel.
- Ayo Edebiri as Josie. Different from her friend PJ, Josie is more shy and socially awkward. She embarks on PJ's crazy fight club idea because she is also interested in grasping the attention of her crush, another cheerleader named Isabel.
- Nicholas Galitzine as Jeff. Jeff is the typical quarterback, who is currently in a relationship with Isabel, Josie's crush. He is handsome but has some violent tendencies and is considered the film's antagonist as he tries his best to stop PJ and Josie's efforts to form a fight club.
- Havana Rose Liu as Isabel. Isabel is a gorgeous cheerleader, who captures Josie's attention from the get-go. She also joins the fight club that PJ and Josie come up with.
- PJ (Rachel Sennott) PJ, who loves overalls and suspenders, has a huge crush on Brittany (Kaia Gerber), and her hopeless romanticism combined with her refusal to quit leads her to take this crush to extreme lengths.
- Josie (Ayo Edebiri) Josie has the opposite personality of PJ. She’s shy, but she has wit and will show it if she’s comfortable enough. Josie’s dream girl is Isabel (Havana Rose Liu).
- Isabel (Havana Rose Liu) Isabel is gorgeous and best friends, or attached at the hip, to Brittany. She also dates the problematic quarterback of the high school football team Jeff (Nicholas Galitzine).
- Brittany (Kaia Gerber) Brittany admits that her identity is pretty wrapped up in Isabel’s, so she kind of just follows Isabel around all the time. But her fashion is awesome, from the fuzzy bucket hat she wears to her designer-cut pants.
