Jun 2, 2023 · Brandon Gardner, a four-star power forward in the class of 2023, is headed to LA and has committed to USC, he told On3. The 6-foot-7 senior out of Middle Village (N.Y.) Christ the King was previously signed with St. John’s but decommitted after the coaching change and Rick Pitino was hired.
Gardner is an elite athlete who becomes USC's best dunker the day he sets foot on campus. He brings a level of explosiveness not seen for a big his size at USC since Onyeka Okongwu. He plays above the rim and excels at finishing down low. He's got a fast developing offensive game and is slowly improving as a perimeter scorer.
