The Chattahoochee River (/ ˌ tʃ æ t ə ˈ h uː tʃ i /) is a river in the Southern United States. It forms the southern half of the Alabama and Georgia border, as well as a portion of the Florida and Georgia border.

Chattahoochee River, river having its source in several headstreams in the Blue Ridge Mountains in northeastern Georgia, U.S. It flows southwestward across northern Georgia to West Point, south of which its course marks the Georgia-Alabama and Georgia-Florida boundaries until it joins the Flint.
The Chattahoochee River is the second southern-most trout habitat in the United States (other: Guadalupe River, Texas) and is also one of only two trout streams in North America that flow through a major urban area (other: Bow River, Canada).
