May 23, 2023 · Crystal Cove State Park – Moro campground has 59 single-family campsites and is located just north of Laguna Beach on Pacific Coast Highway with spectacular sunset views over the Pacific ocean. There are 28 premium campsites with water & electric hookups (for trailers and RVs – 30 and 50 amp).
Crystal Cove State Park offers two types of camping: Primitive camping and coastal bluff top camping. There is no sandy beach camping available in the park. For the primitive sites, after checking in at the Moro Canyon kiosk, campers must hike inland approximately three miles, mostly uphill.
Visitors will be able to reserve campsites and lodging six months in advance from the current date. Bookings may extend from the arrival date to the desired departure date – based on availability and the park’s maximum stay rules.
Crystal Cove State Park has 3.2 miles of beach, a 60-site campground, 448 acres of coastal terrace, and 2,343 acres of undeveloped wild land, which is popular for hiking and horseback riding.
