   • It can be mistaken for a renal mass but, on closer inspection, mimics the renal cortex in every respect. Dromedary hump is named after the camel of the same name. The focal bulge in the renal cortex, albeit striking in appearance, is just a focal bulge of normal cortex due to the splenic impression on the superolateral left kidney.
