Aug 12, 2019 · Visit the Dwight D. Eisenhower Library and Museum. Campus Hours: 9 am - 4:45 pm, August-May. 8 am - 5:45 pm, June-July. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Admission Fee* New rates are effective August 1, 2019. The new pricing structure provides an option for the museum, home tour, or a combination ticket.
Hours of Operation. Tuesday - Sunday, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Gift shop, Museum* and Boyhood Home*) Last museum entry is one hour prior to closing. Campus grounds are open daily sunrise to sunset. Library and Place of Meditation buildings are open daily. *Tickets are required for the Museum and Boyhood Home.

Temporary exhibits are often located inside the Eisenhower Presidential Library in the second floor gallery space. This is a working library where the public uses the 26 million pages of the archives to conduct research - everything from genealogy, essays, theses, to book projects.
Built by the Eisenhower Foundation with funds raised through public gifts, the museum building is constructed of Kansas limestone. Originally dedicated on Veterans Day in 1954, the museum was built to house the materials and objects related to Dwight D. Eisenhower's life.
The Visitors Center is located on the site of the former Lincoln School, where Eisenhower first enrolled in elementary school. This building houses our gift shop and an auditorium where a brief film on Eisenhower is shown on a daily schedule.
Opened for public tours in 1947, this typical 19th century home was occupied by the Eisenhower family from 1898 until Mrs. Eisenhower's death in 1946. The museum includes Eisenhower's boyhood home, where he lived from 1898 until being appointed to West Point in 1911, [1] and is also the president's final resting place. It is one of the thirteen presidential libraries under the auspices of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
