Answer: Completely normal, typically goes away in 2-3 months. Great question. This happens to most rhinoplasty patients because of swelling, healing, pain, etc. all caused by the rhinoplasty operation. This will all normalize in time, but may take 2-3 months for some patients. It always goes away and is not something to worry about.

I have read different things when it comes to what I should get done first. Some say it’s recommended to get lip fillers after all the swelling from my rhinoplasty is gone (which won’t be for at least 6 months) others say I should get my lips filled before because it is when my face will be most symmetrical since there will be no swelling.
