Very possibly the largest hosta you can buy, ‘Empress Wu’ eventually matures to 3-4 tall and spreads to 5-6 wide. Deeply veined, cordate-based, green leaves are 28" long with a wingspan of 25"wide. In early summer, pale lavender flowers on short scapes bloom just above foliage, each lovely flower subtended by a large pale lavender bract.
