The fourteenth season of the American fictional drama television series ER first aired on September 27, 2007, and concluded on May 15, 2008. It consists of 19 episodes. NBC and Warner Bros. had planned for the 14th season to be the series' last one and for former regular characters to appear in most episodes including the forecast series finale.
S14.E1 ∙ The War Comes Home. Abby, Pratt and Morris clash with Moretti's strict new ER procedures as victims of an anti-war rally roll in, including Neela. Gates manhandles a patient he suspects set off the explosion that disrupted the protest. A worried Dubenko lets his emotions for Neela take over during Neela's surgery.

- Plot synopsis
The fourteenth season of the medical drama series ER which originally aired from NBC on September 27, 2007 and concluded on May 15, 2008. The season consists of 19 episodes. This title cover depicts Pratt inspecting a critical patient.
The series celebrates its 300th episode but due to the writers' strike this season runs three episodes shorter than normal. As a result, certain storylines were altered, including Gates' relationship with hospital chaplain Julia Dupree.
Victims of the anti-war rally protest are brought in, and adding to the tension is Moretti's harsh approach, which creates more tensions with Abby, Pratt and Morris. Gates reacts strongly to a patient that is a suspect in the protest explosion. The staff, including Dubenko are very worried about Neela's condition after the explosion. With Kovač in Croatia, the focus shifts to Abby as she adapts to life as a single parent. Meanwhile, new ER chief Kevin Morretti continues to make his presence felt until he makes a swift exit, Pratt is angered when locum Dr. Wexler is appointed as Morretti's replacement, Sam and Gates start a relationship and Jeanie Boulet makes a return to the ER when her son is brought in.

S1.E4 ∙ Hit and Run. Thu, Oct 6, 1994. Drs. Benton and Langworthy are unsuccessful in reviving a teen-aged boy involved in a traffic accident and it's left to Carter to determine the boy's identity and notify the parents. Unfortunately, he tells the wrong parents that their son is dead.
On the Beach. Dr. Greene's final days are spent in Hawaii with Rachel, teaching her to drive and surf. When he suffers a seizure, Elizabeth is called. Mark refuses to go home.
