Greg Upchurch, formerly of Puddle of Mudd, replaced Daniel Adair in 2005, when Adair left to become drummer and contributing member of Nickelback. 3 Doors Down released their self-titled fourth album on May 20, 2008. Greg Upchurch is best known as the drummer for multi-platinum heavyweights 3 Doors Down for the past decade and a half. Prior to that he had a stint with Puddle of Mudd during their mega-successful debut album, Come Clean, days as well as hitting the road with the legendary Chris Cornell and getting his start with alternative pioneers Eleven.
He auditioned, and with the praise of the great Matt Cameron, was chosen to play with Eleven, replacing their initial drummer Jack Irons (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam). Greg toured the world and supported two albums, opening for Soundgarden among others.
