The single use packets are very easy and convenient to use, not messy at all. I like the color (Coffee) a lot! No bad smell either, and the hair color contains no ammonia. It covers gray well, too. But, the instructions are odd and confusing, as the box says to "wait" for 40 minutes after applying the color to your hair, in very plain English.
