Wofford College announced on Nov. 17, 2014 its plans to build the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium to house a new basketball/volleyball arena, locker rooms and other facilities. The facility is adjacent to the north end of Gibbs Stadium, where the Terriers play football.
Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium is a college basketball arena located in Spartanburg, South Carolina on the campus of Wofford College. It became home of the Wofford Terriers men's and women's basketball teams at the start of the 2017–18 season, replacing Benjamin Johnson Arena.
Across the street from Cumming Street School is the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium, which was donated by Richardson and opened in 2017. The facility contains a basketball arena, which can hold up to 3,400 spectators. It also houses a volleyball arena, with seating for up to 350 people.
