She married Andy Hill, a construction site manager, in Derbyshire in May 2013, and said she would be known as Jessica Ennis-Hill. On 10 January 2014, she announced she would be unable to compete in the 2014 Commonwealth Games because she was pregnant with her first child. She gave birth to her son Reggie in July 2014.
