Wokeness pushing further into Japan: Mrs Green Apple 「Columbus 」. Popular Japanese group Mrs Green Apple had to pull a new video from YouTube after allegations of 'racism'. Maybe someone can explain to me where the 'racism' is because I'm confused ( video is here ).
Kotaku got too big for its own good, and they started employing people with biases and opinions that went against their original modus operandi, otaku culture. It's now hard to find any sort of solid information without the writer's personal feelings plastered through-out.
Is Kotaku shut down? Tim Rogers’ balance between sincerity + comedy always reminded me of my favorite comedian Mike Birbiglia. I sunk 100+ hours into a short video about him and hoped y’all might enjoy it (please remove if this sort of thing isn’t allowed)

KotakuinAction, aka, KiA, is pretty much GamerGate central in Reddit, since most subs deleted conversation about GamerGate and shadow banned people for bringing it up. Pretty much a consequence of the 25k+ comment graveyard from when GamerGate started.

Mar 21, 2024 · Honestly as a long-time user of the site I don’t think it is the worst thing that could have happened to it, but in this day and age once you’re sold off, the future of your site is at the whims of the suits anyways, as we’ve seen here with Kotaku…
I’ve been reading Kotaku daily for years but it’s gone so far downhill I just can’t do it anymore. The writing is terrible, it’s full of clickbait bullshit, and the site is so poorly optimized and full of ads that it runs like complete shit. Anyone have any good alternatives?
