Blazing Saddles is a 1974 American satirical postmodernist Western black comedy film directed by Mel Brooks, who co-wrote the screenplay with Andrew Bergman, Richard Pryor, Norman Steinberg and Alan Uger, based on a story treatment by Bergman. The film stars Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder.
Dunn is forever remembered for the character Rev. Johnson in Blazing Saddles (1974). Dunn's other works include Young Frankenstein (1974) and Silent Movie (1976). After "Silent Movie", Dunn, now weak and thin was diagnosed with emphysema. Liam Dunn died in 1976 at age 59. Born November 12, 1916.
