Jan 24, 2021 · Having real problems with this new Marantz NR1200 shutting down into standby mode. Seems completely random, happens whether playing CD, Phono HEOS and might be ok for a day then happens again. It's a dedicated Atacama stand so plenty of ventilation.
Troubleshooting. If a problem should arise, first check the following: Are the connections correct? Is the set being operated as described in the owner’s manual? Are the other devices operating properly? If steps 1 to 3 above do not improve the problem, restarting the device may improve the problem.

Jan 29, 2020 · Thanks to the presence of on board bass management and speaker positioning adjustment, the NR1200 has the scope to work in environments that other stereo amps are likely to struggle in. The aesthetics of the NR1200 are entirely in keeping with the standard ‘design language’ of Marantz and if you like that (and I do), it won’t offend.

Apr 2, 2021 · I have the NR1200 and am pretty happy with it. I do occasionally use it as an Airplay receiver for steaming from my iPhone or iPad. I haven't noticed any issues, although 95% of the time I'm not using wireless; I generally am using HDMI (ARC) from the TV or the phono input from a turntable.
Mar 8, 2022 · Sorry to hear your problems with the NR1200. For what it is worth, my advice would be, if you don't need AV, spend on a good stereo amp, with a decent phono input. Many modern amps have optical inputs which would allow you to plug a TV in for enhanced stereo sound.
