Sheneneh was born July 4th 1967 and raised by cousin Kayla Jenkins. Shirley Jenkins was Sheneneh's grandmother and she went to jail when Sheneneh was just 10. She dragged 10 rats in her lifetime.
Sheneneh worked in a salon as a teen because she got into fights in school, and her grandmother worked there as a secretary. She initially swept hair, then by high school, she was doing hair and nails. By age 18, she was promoted to manager and changed the name of the salon to "Sheneneh's Wig Shop".

Sheneneh is mostly notable for starting fights with Gina and Pam (mostly out of jealously of Martin's relationship with Gina). Sheneneh lives across the hall from Martin in apartment 41. Sheneneh has a small crush on Martin which is why she usually picks at Gina despite Gina trying to be cordial.
