Mike Larsen is a world-renowned Chickasaw painter and sculptor who has created First American art for more than 40 years. Many of his works honor the culture and history of the Chickasaw Nation. The Oklahoma artist was born in 1944.
Mar 3, 2014 · In 1991 the artist was commissioned by the State of Oklahoma to paint a 26-foot-long mural depicting five internationally renowned Native American ballerinas, all born in the state, for the capitol rotunda.
