Marie Mireille Enos (/ m ɪəˈr eɪ ˈ iː n ə s /; born September 22, 1975) is an American actress known for the lead role as homicide detective Sarah Linden in the drama series The Killing.
Set in Seattle, Washington, the series follows the various murder investigations by homicide detectives Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) and Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman). AMC announced the series's cancellation in July 2012, but picked it up for a third season after a renegotiation with Fox Television Studios and Netflix .
