Wilfred Nalani "Moe" Keale (December 3, 1939 – April 15, 2002) was an American musician of Hawaiian music, a ukulele virtuoso, and an actor. He was the uncle and major musical influence of Israel Kamakawiwoʻole. He died from a heart attack on 15 April 2002, aged 62.

Wilfred Nalani “Moe” Keale one of Hawai‘i’s most loved entertainers, was born on the island of Ni‘ihau on December 3, 1939. Moe was of pure Hawaiian decent and came from a family gifted with tremendous musical talent and powerful spiritual understanding. Moe started playing ‘ukulele at the age of 5 and continued to play though out his life.
Moe started playing music in his teens and eventually became an accomplished actor and a Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winning musician. Uncle Moe became a role model for Michael, his brother Bill, his cousins, Nalani, Walt Mix-Kealekupuna and Skippy and IZ Kamakawiwo’ole.
