Mar 1, 2008 · Myakka River State Park is about 20 minutes from Sarasota. The Park is very lovely and has many outdoor activities. They have a couple of cabins that they cheaply rent out year round. Cabins are historic, Palm log structures with a bath, equipped kitchen and sleeping/living area.
