This glittering winter festival has brought holiday cheer to Torontonians since 1967. Featuring an unforgettable opening night celebration, complete with live performances and lighting of the city’s official Christmas tree, the annual Cavalcade of Lights offers nightly ice skating and festive light installations for the entire holiday season.
Location: Nathan Phillips Square. Since 1967, Toronto announces the arrival of the holiday season with the Cavalcade of Lights. This glittering festival captures Canada’s winter spirit and transforms Nathan Phillips Square, easily accessible by the TTC Queen streetcar or the subway via the Yonge and University lines.
