Winston Schmidt, primarily known mononymously as Schmidt, is a main character on FOX comedy New Girl. He is portrayed by Max Greenfield. Schmidt and Cece Parekh were married in season 5 and they now have two kids, a daughter named Ruth and a son named Moses.
He co-starred as Schmidt in the Fox sitcom New Girl, for which he received nominations at the Primetime Emmy Awards, the Golden Globe Awards, and the Critics' Choice Television Awards. Since 2018, Greenfield has portrayed Dave Johnson in the CBS sitcom The Neighborhood.
