Fellows become proficient with wire and radioactive seed localizations, stereotactic biopsy, ultrasound procedures, and MRI procedures. As a fellow, you will interact with patients and participate in multidisciplinary breast conference and both resident and medical student education.

Breast Imaging Fellowship. Breast Imaging Fellowship Year Starting July 1, 2024. The Breast Imaging Radiology Fellowship at the State University of New York at Stony Brook is a one year full-time closely supervised training program at a designated Level 1 Trauma Center.
This fellowship is designed to give clinicians with prior residency training in diagnostic radiology advanced education in all aspects of breast imaging, including interpreting diagnostic and screening mammography, digital tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, contrast enhanced mammography and outside film review.
