The "splat" version of the logo was used from live-action films The Spiderwick Chronicles, released in 2008 to Imagine That, released in 2009. The logo was reintroduced in the trailer to PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie and in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and on the films themselves.
As this happens, two smaller blue and orange moons spin around and stop on the right side of it to form the Nickelodeon Movies logo.
