  2. Peterhouse's Dining Hall. Old Court lies beyond the Chapel cloisters. To the south of the court is the dining hall, the only College building that survives from the 13th century. Between 1866 and 1870, the hall was restored by the architect George Gilbert Scott, Jr.

  3. Jun 29, 2016 · Historic, lovely but small college in Central Cambridge. Peterhouse is the University of Cambridge's first college, and is over 800 years old. It is still quite small, and relatively discrete. Nice gardens, and good to have a quick look around.

  4. The portrait of Lord Wilson, former Governor of Hong Kong and latterly Master of Peterhouse sits to the right of the library door. Beautiful gardens, including a particularly impressive Fellows Garden with an ancient sundial. The Hall (ceremonial dining room) is impressive for its stained glass.
