The Price is Right Models (also formerly known as "Barker's Beauties") are the lovely ladies of the show. They are the ones showing off the prizes offered and demonstrating them too. They've been the most vital part of the show ever since its 1956 debut & 1972 return and are still part of the show today. Models have come & gone over the years but they still give sex appeal to appliances.

During the Barker era of the show, the models appeared regularly on each episode, until 2002. Starting that year, models would rotate, with up to three appearing in an episode. This practice continued after Barker's retirement in 2007 and into the first year of the Carey era. Starting in 2008, a regular set of models were used on the show, with up the three of them appearing per episode. Once George Gray took over as announcer in 2010, he sometimes would act as the "defacto" third model and only two models would appear in the episode. Male models joined the program in 2012 with the addition of Rob Wilson until his departure from the show in 2014 as he's now been replaced by James O'Halloran since then. Since 2018, the show now has added Devin Goda to the rotation.

On some episodes from the 80s, it used a robot model.

On a 1994 episode (airdate: April 21, 1994) Kathy Greco came a tryout model for the show.

On a 1998 episode (airdate: April 3, 1998), Kathy "Fingers" Greco's husband Frank appeared as a model for a set of golf clubs, although he was mostly practicing with his swing.

On the 30th Anniversary Special from Las Vegas (airdate: January 31, 2002), Host Bob Barker was introduced in the opening credits with the fabulous Rio showgirls standing on the opposite sides of the door, gesturing as it opened, revealing Barker as he makes his way towards the incredibly large audience.

Some of the celebrities have appeared as models on some episode of Price (i.e. Tyra Banks).

Some of the ex-Barker's Beauties went on to appear as one of the 26 beautiful briefcase models on the primetime NBC game show Deal or No Deal hosted by Howie Mandel that was based on the Dutch format called "Miljoenenjacht/Hunt for Millions" (i.e. Claudia Jordan, Lanisha Cole, Lisa Gleave, Sonia Vera, Kristal Marshall, Enya Flack and Mylinda Tov respectively), which ran from December 2005-May 2009.

In 2014, a six episode reality competition series was aired on YouTube along with its official website priceisright.com that aired from October 27 until November 11, 2014 where it was made to replace its former first official male model Rob Wilson. On December 1, 2014; the three finalists would appear on the CBS daytime talk show The Talk as online...

An episode of Family Guy (airdate: May 8, 2016) called "The New Adventures of Old Tom" (the title itself was a reference of the 2006-10 CBS sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine) had a brief reference to Price where a female model has been replaced by a male model which resulted in a male contestant rejecting a car that was once offered to him in the process.

NOTE: This was obviously referencing that Price has now added male models during the Carey era of the show such as Rob Wilson, James O'Halloran and Devin Goda.

During the heyday of the Janice/Holly/Dian (and later Kathleen) era, it was common for each of the models to have specific, different designated duties with respect to different parts of the show. Some of these were:

Janice•Handing Bob his microphone at the start of the show.

•Operating the cash register in Grocery Game.

•One of the two models who would "bump" in Bump.

•Handling the small prizes and the scale in Balance Game (1).

    Holly•Operating the "calculator" in Check-Out.
