The Lovers! is a 1973 British comedy film based on the 1970-71 Granada Television sitcom The Lovers. It follows the courtship of two young people from Manchester, England, Geoffrey Scrimshaw ( Richard Beckinsale) and Beryl Battersby ( Paula Wilcox ).
Rosalind Ayres (born 7 December 1946) is an English actress, director and producer. [1] Active since 1970, Ayres is well known for her role in the 1997 film Titanic, in which she played Lucy, Lady Duff-Gordon. Her husband, Martin Jarvis, played Sir Cosmo Duff-Gordon in the film.
