  6. The bridge was rebuilt in 1996. Because it lies so close to the battlefields of Gettysburg, it is rumored to be haunted and is a popular spot for modern-day “ghost hunters”. The bridge spans Marsh Creek near Gettysburg. The openings in the sides of the bridge give you clear views up and down Marsh Creek.

  7. This 100 foot structure is a true beauty and it played a critical role throughout the battle, including a way out for the Confederate armies when they finally ran off in defeat. This is a stunning covered bridge. Since the day we went was the start of trout season, there were people fishing these trout stocked waters. It is such a relaxing place.
