Won through invited design competition in 2019, we have designed a new vision for St Catharine’s College, featuring a remodelled Dining Hall with lantern rooflight at the heart of the campus.
Aug 1, 2022 · An extensive update and redesign of the Hall and adjoining spaces at St Catharine's College are at the centre of its Central Spaces project which is due to complete this summer. It will include an attractive Dining Hall to seat 180 for dinner, modern kitchens and cafeteria, and a light-filled Garden room.
St Catharine's College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. Founded in 1473 as Katharine Hall , it adopted its current name in 1860. The college is nicknamed " Catz ".
Oct 13, 2022 · The standout feature of the project is the new dining hall and kitchen area, with a gold lantern shining natural light onto students enjoying College activities or guests dining at external events.
For private dining the College offers a range of modern and traditional dining rooms including the refurbished College Hall, a magnificent venue that re-opened in August 2022 seating 180 guests.
