Dr. Caruso is a professor who is very passionate about his work, which in turn made you feel passionate about the class. This class was adjusted into a bioinformatics format (more like 316L) for the pandemic. As long as you went to class, you would be fine. A lot of work outside of class though. The final was difficult, but it was curved.
Professor Caruso truly cares about his students, both academically and personally. The worst thing that can be said about his is that he takes a while to grade work, but he will always provide feedback if you ask him. If you have the chance, take a class with Prof. Caruso. Gives good feedback Amazing lectures Caring.
Grade: A. Textbook: N/A. Dr. Carlson is the best professor in the Microbiology Department at OSU by far. He genuinely cares about his students and listens to feedback. He is professional and knowledgeable while creating a relaxed classroom environment where students feel comfortable to participate and ask questions.
