Actor. He appeared in many films from 1947 onwards, notably "The Lavender Hill Mob", "Passport to Pimlico", "A Kid for Two Farthings", and "The Birthday Party", in which he played Nat Goldberg. His final film role was in 1977, as the captain in "The Spy Who Loved Me", with Roger Moore as James Bond.
