Projections is the second album by the American blues rock band the Blues Project. Produced by Tom Wilson and released by Verve/Folkways in November 1966, the album was their first studio release and examined a more rock-based sound. Jim Marshall was credited as the photographer of the album cover.

On their second album, Projections —the only studio recording with their classic lineup—they did. They formed in 1965 around guitarist Danny Kalb, bassist Andy Kulberg, guitarist/singer Steve Katz, drummer Roy Blumenfeld and, soon after, singer Tommy Flanders.
Returning to New York, the band recorded their second album Projections in the fall of 1966, with MGM releasing it in November. Projections contained an eclectic set of songs that ran the gamut from blues , R&B , jazz , psychedelia , and folk-rock . [1]
